Death

Connie J. Wagner, 60, of Lafayette, IN, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She was born on June 16, 1965 in Danville, Illinois to the late Wayne and Patsy (Clapp) Furr. Connie graduated from high school and received her Associates Degree from Ivy Tech Community College. Connie worked as a paraprofessional for Vinton Elementary School and Linwood Preschool. She enjoyed playing Uno and board games, watching movies, and spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughter, Chrissy (Jon Thomas) Wagner of Lafayette; her sisters, Linda (Curtis) Bohs of West Lafayette, Sheila Spence of West Lafayette, and Joanie Asare of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Shaun Wagner and Baylee Thomas. She was preceded in death by her life partner, Robert Perkins. A Service will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Noon at Fisher Funeral Chapel with burial following in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 am until Noon at the funeral home.
