Death

Services for Carrie Crocker, 94, of Gun Barrel City, were held May 23, 2012, at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Chapel with Ken Maddox officiating. Crocker was born Sept. 29, 1917, in Paradise, to Roxie Fleener and Farfray Boswell and died May 18, 2012. She was a seamstress by trade and enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, husband Bill Crocker, seven brothers and four sisters. Survivors include her daughters, Beth Pierce and husband George of Winnsboro, Floy Furr of Corinth, and Jannette Moseley of Gun Barrel City; son Charles Patterson of Wills Point, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren, brother Willard Boswell, of Marshall; sister JoAnn Wright, of Dallas, numerous nieces and nephews, and other family members and many friends.
