Death

Patricia Furr, 57, Parshall, died Monday, April 12, 2021 at her home. Patricia Anne Waldock was born July 26, 1963, in Stanley, to Judith Waldock. She was raised in Parshall, ND while visiting her grandparents, and in Casper, WY where she attended school. After high school she moved to Nevada and lived in several communities. During this time, she was blessed with two children. While in Nevada, she worked at a warehouse, for many years, on the California border. She always enjoyed the outdoors and exploring new places. In 2005, Trish returned to Parshall and began work for Northrop Grumman. In 2007, Trish met her soul mate, John Bartelson. They traveled throughout the United States and bought a home in the Black Hills. She worked as a bookkeeper for his ranching operation and enjoyed helping where needed. She loved the country life from shooting her gun to mowing the lawn to tending her flowers. Trish had a laugh which could make you laugh, even on a bad day, and she always had a cup of coffee ready if you stopped by. Her smile and witty personality will be greatly missed. Patricia is survived by her son, Dean Newman of Parshall; daughter, Katelyn Bell (Troy) of Moorcroft, WY; companion, John Bartelson of Parshall; granddaughter, Leah Newman; aunts, Anne Mallberg (Leon) of Dickinson and Mary Benning (Reede) of Bismarck; uncles, Tom Waldock (Joyce) and Joe Waldock, both of Parshall; many cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Chapman and uncles, Mike, Steve, and Andy Waldock. Interment of Cremains will take place at a later date.
