Death

Passed away Saturday at Parkview Nursing Home, Attica. Daughter of Robert and Mary Agnes Grabman Wilhite. Married Roscoe Dyson December 23, 1942. He preceded her in death January 1986. Survivors include sons John (Jane), Don (Teri) and Darrell (Denise) Dyson; grandchildren Jeff Dyson, Juli (Alex) Smith, Susan (Bobby) Oakley, Michael Travis (Crystal) Dyson, Linda Williams (Darin Odle), Jen (Ryan) Karey, Mackenzie Walters, Curt (Dana) Dyson, Mandi (Tim) Gerdes. Missy (Brandon) Lee; step-children Donnie, Diana and Paula; 23 great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog BoBo. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter Judy, great-grandson Brogan and step-granddaughter Marsha. Attended Crawfordsville schools. Retired from the Mellott Post Office after serving over 35 years, and had worked at the Crawfordsville Shirt Company. Lifetime member of St Bernard's Catholic Church in Crawfordsville. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, though Bingo nearly took precedence over everything else! Mass of Christian Burial 10am Thursday, August 24 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Crawfordsville, with the Rev. Christopher Shocklee officiating. Visitation 5-8pm Wednesday at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate, followed by a rosary service. Memorial donations to St. Vincent Hospital NICU/Brogan James Lee.
