Notes
Death
Andrew Harden, 86year old oil wealthy Indian, died March 13 in his air-conditioned log cabin near Ada. Despite his fortune. Harden made few concessions to civilization. He relented somewhat two years ago and had his cabin air-conditioned. He built the tow cabin in 1884 for his bride, a 14 year old part Chickasaw girl. His possessions then consisted of the pony, saddle and six-shoot. Twelve children were born to the couple before they separated in 1914. His wife sued for separation and was awarded a $294,000 cash settlement. At that time his property was valued a $100,000.The Collinsville News (Oklahoma) 17 Apr 1941
