Death
Graveside services for Mrs. Valley Furr of 917 E. 56th St. will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in City of Lubbock Cemetery. Mrs. Furr, 87, died at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital after a lengthy illness. Officiating will be the Rev. T.D. Fullingim of Lorenzo, and burial will be under direction of Sanders Funeral Home. Mrs. Furr was an Arkansas native who moved to Lubbock from Henryetta, Okla., in 1929.Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, Lubbock, Texas, June 17, 1976
