Joseph Willian

From LaRue County, Kentucky deed records.
On 24 August 1844, Joseph Willian purchased 100 acres of land from Squire LaRue. According to the Mathers Papers, Squire LaRue's land was within a mile of Lincoln's Sinking Creek Farm. On 30 Oct 1876, Joseph Willian sold his land to his daughter, Zearilda for $1 with the agreement that she take care of him for the rest of his life. On 5 Feb 1890, the land was once again sold, this time to D. J. Goff, Zearilda's son. Payment of $1 each was made to Zearilda and each of her children. D. J. Goff agreed to take care of his mother and two unmarried sisters as a condition of the sale.
