Richard Clegg is the 2nd great grandfather of Harlan Sanders, founder of "Kentucky Fried Chicken" restaurant chain.
Richard is buried in Little Union cemetery (which is located behind Stuckey's Filling Station and Shuler's Restaurant in Henryville. Little Union was a community cemetery, but, most of those buried there are related by blood or marriage. The headstone inscription reads: "Richard Clegg, age 76 years, 5 mo. He was born in Ireland a son of Thomas Clegg."
