John Scarborough II

(1649 - 4 Apr 1706)

On July 4, 1682, he purchased 250 acres from William Penn in Pennsylvania and brought his only son John to Pennsylvania. Land was along Neshaminy Creek. His wife was not Quaker and remained in England. He returned to England in 1684. He was known in London as a blacksmith and coach maker. Source History of Bucks Co. Pennsylvania
