Ira Klendworth

Dana - (Special) - Ira Klendworth, 58, retired Dana Farmer, died in his home Friday Afternoon from a cerebral Hemorrage. He had been in failing health.

The body was taken to the Wilcox funeral home in Minonk where visitation will begin Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The remains will be moved to the Methodist Church in Dana at 10 a.m. to lie in state until the funeral at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Dana Cemetery.

The deceased, the son of George and Alice (Lunning) Klendworth, was born at the home site near Dana, Jan. 30, 1899. His marriage to Ola Bane of Dana took place Oct. 1, 1919 in Normal and they bacame parents of four sons.

He farmed on the original home site until 10 years ago, when he retire from farming, but the family continued to make it's home there.

Mr. Klendworth was a member of the Christian church.

He leaves his wife, four son, Oakley and Willis, both of Dana; Ira Gene of Paramount; and Orin Dale, of Long Beach, Calif. There are seven grandchildren.

Also left are two sisters, Mrs. Albert Riss of Dana and Mrs. Lloyd Richardson of Joliet; two brothers, Clifford of Erie and Earl of Aubburndale, Fla.

He was preceeded in death by a sister, Mrs. Carl Hoffman, and twi brothers in infancy.
