Individual Details
Catherine Ann MOORE
(Abt 1881 - 7 Jan 1956)
Family remember her as a cook of great girdle scones.
She is also remembered as a strict disciplinarian to her own children,
but nevertheless a warm and caring person. She had a very hard life
with a sick husband, very little money coming in, and a large family
to care for. In later life she was quite easygoing with her
grandchildren (when two of the grandchildren swept the dirty gutter
with her good broom, she would not allow their mother to smack them!)
