Mother: Christian (Chissy) KYDD, nee GRANT, born 25 February 1895 at
Belmearnoch, Glenlgon, Perthshire, Scotland, died 11 June 1973 at
Wellington, New Zealand.
They married 2 April 1919 in Scotland.
There were two other children:
Gordon Grant KYDD, born 16 January 1920 (He married Iris CASTLE on 7
October 1944. Iris CASTLE died 11 November 1959)

Marriage
At St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, The Terrace, Wellington.Officiating Minister: Rev. J SOMERVILLE.
Reception held at the Communist Party Hall, Cuba Street, Wellington.
Wedding party comprised Jack RYAN (friend), James SNEDDON (brother of
Groom), Iris KYDD (sister-in-law), Jenny SNEDDON (sister of groom).
Apart from their three daughters, there was another daughter,
stillborn about 1960.
Janis SNEDDON mentioned that her mother had had stillborn twins.
She also mentioned that her mother had twin sisters, Maggie and Susie
(not confirmed)
