Cause of Death: From injuries suffered when a tree fell on him.With his brother-in-law, William REDDY, they were felling a kauri tree
when it veered sideways and became entangled with a rata tree. When
both trees had fallen, William REDDY discovered that his
brother-in-law was pinned beneath the rata tree, and he died of his
injuries, leaving his wife, Emily, a widow with four young children.
