Individual Details
Albert Reginald WEBB
(Abt 1890 - 29 May 1971)
Ex Army, Queenscliff.
Kirsten McCauley says: This couple seem to have lived a very secluded life and trying to find information on them is very hard. They lived a big part of there lives at Queenscliff and Albert served in the first war and it seems he came back and was either employed by the services at Queenscliff Fort or he remained in service for a long time. The group he was with during his time in WW1 (Siege Battalion) is a mystery to a lot of people even in the services or that's what I have being told. Eastern Cemetery - Albert and Doris's ashes are in storage still awaiting some direction as to what needs to be done with them. I was just wondering whether anybody on our side of the family was aware of this. The lady out there asked whether Albert had been a service person and she gave me a brochure with some information about servicemen's headstones.
