Maria McSweeney was the mother of Annie Maria Josepha Lane, according to Annie's 1857 marriage certificate. This is virtually all that is known of Maria. It is probable that she died soon after Annie's birth, as she is not with Annie's father Michael at Bath in the 1841 census.
