Was named "Mary Eileen Anderson" by Doris; Bertha asked that her name be changed to Beverley Margaret at the legal adopton hearing. Doris offered her child for adoption by advertisement in the Colac Herald then stayed with the Shenfields and one other couple before deciding who to allow to adopt her baby who was 6 weeks old.
