Their Marriage caused quite a stir in the town, Catherine was the daughter of a prominent Presbyterian family and Dennis was from a Catholic family. Dennis (known as Denny in the Town) was well known for riding his motor bike noisily around the district. He worked as a miner in Illabarook.
