PAINTER-MOLYNEUXIn Canon Davis Memorial Church Saturday, at 12:30 p.m., Beatrice, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Molyneux was united in marriage with Garnet John Morrell Painter, of Fort Erie, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Claud Painter, of Chatham. The rev. J. D. Gilmour officiated at a double ring ceremony. The wedding march was played by Mrs. L. E. Boulton. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was gowned in a street length frock of heavenly blue crepe with a blue hat and gray shoes and gloves. Hre boquet was of pink briarcliff roses. The matron of honor was Mrs. Eric Steward, sister of the bride. She wore a street length dress of soldier blue crepe, bue hat with white accessories. Her boquet was of Queen Elizabeth yellow roses. The bridegroom was supported by Edward W. nagle of Chatham. The ushers were James W. Molyneux, brother of the bride and Eric Steward. Mrs Molyneux was attired in a blue figured crepe frock with a navy hat. The bridegroom's mother wore dushy rose crepe with matching hat. Both wore corsages of briarcliff roses. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the Y.W.C. A. for approximately twenty guests. The young couple left for Fort Erie, where they will take up residence at 182 Bertee Street. For traveling the bride chose a navy knited suit, coat of copen blue with matching accessories. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
For many years Bea and Garnet Painter have meticulously worked to collect and preserve a continuing history of our parish, here at St. Paul’s Fort Erie. While this present work is dedicated to all who have worshiped here, and to all those who will worship here in the years to come, it is indeed appropriate that the dedication of the Painters in this task be acknowledged with thanks, in the certainty that their work is now preserved on computer disk for future historians to continue their ongoing task of preserving those special moments in the life of our Parish for the future generations to look back on.
In addition, my thanks to Lillian Howe for her special help in converting these records to computer disk, and in the preparation of this publication.
