Ira Abraham MCMULLIN

The first known about Ira is in the Burt Co, Ne., 1900 census. He is listed in Craig twp with his sister Edna and a cousin George. Ira is the head of the household. He is listed as being a farmer. This also says that his father and mother were both born in Pa.
His obituary states that he was the oldest son of the family, so he had brothers and sisters, unknown to me. When he died, he left to mourn his father, step mother, two sisters and one brother.
The early part of his life was spent on the farm in Burt Co., Ne., and in 1898 he, with his sister, moved to his farm south of Craig in that county.
He and Barbara stayed in Nebraska after their marriage, and then in 1910 the moved to Brooklyn, Iowa, where they resided until death. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and the Brooklyn Encampment No. 36.
