SALEM-Archie L. Newlin, 80, of 2564 Depot Road, Salem, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday at his home.
He was born Aug. 11, 1930, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of the late Arthur and Caroline (Henderson) Newlin.
Mr. Newlin was self-employed in heating and air conditioning. He was a member of Sixth Street Wilbur Friends Meeting.
His wife, Barbara (Stanley) Newlin, whom he married May 3, 1952, survives him along with two sons, Carey (Kim) Newlin of Salem and Tracy Newlin of Salem; a brother, Lyle (Jewell) Newlin of Port Ludlow, Wash.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were a son, Neal Newlin; and a daughter, Diane Newlin.
Graveside services will be held at the Friends Cemetery in Winona at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield 44406.
Arrangements were handled by the Stark Memorial Funeral Home.
