Mark Edward DIGNEY

Mark was raised on a farm near Walcott, Iowa, worked with his dad on the farm with crops and worked with the livestock. He graduated from Davenport West High School in the class of 1991 and went to Iowa State University for two years. He continued his college education at Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.
He had hoped to be a pilot, possibly with the Air Force, but was not accepted into the service. He then applied for a job in law enforcement, but was turned down. He accepted a job with Elliott Aviation in Moline, Illinois, as the manager. In February of 2000 he was hired as a deputy with the Scott County, Iowa, Sheriff's Department. He graduated from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy on June 16, 2000.

Lisa dated a young man by the name of Mark Digney all during high school, but they parted ways after high school. A few years later they resumed their relationship, began dating again. During the wedding of her cousin, Chris Tice, she caught the bouquet when it was thrown and Mark caught the garter. They became engaged that night and were married November 3, 2001.
