JOHNSON-STEWARDCanon Davis memorial Church was the scene of a wedding Saturday afternoon at four-thirty o'clock when Verona Elaine, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs Ernest A. Steward, of this city, and Algred Gill Johnson, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Johnson, of Toronto, were united in marriage. The rev. J. D. Gilmour officiated. The wedding march was pllayed by Mrs. L. E. Boulton. Given in marriage by her father the bride was attired in an aquamarine frock with matching hat. Her shoes and gloves were white and she carried a boquet of yellow roses. Her matron-of-honor was Mrs. E. White, of Windsor, and her bridesmaid wa Mrs. T. Gill, who are her sisters. They wore frocks of dusty rose, matching hats and white accessories. their boquets were of yellow snapdragons an mauve sweet-peas. The bridegroom was supported by Eric Steward. The ushers were R. E. White, of Windsor, and T. Gill. The bride's mohter, Mrs. Steward, chose navy sheer, matching hat and white accessories. The bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Johnson, wore a rose frock, brown accessories. Their coursages were of sweetpeas and roses. Following the wedding a reception was held at Colonial Hotel. Out-of-Town guests included Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Johnson and daughter, Beatrice, of Toronto; Miss E. Beynon, of Toronto; Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Whhite and daughter, Patricia, of Windsor.

D. D. Jones officiating. Intermentn at Primrose Memorial Gardens, Sarnia Twshp. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home from 2 to 4, and 7 to 9:30 p.m.
