Newspaper Obit...Mrs Emily Breniman passed away on Monday morning at 4 o'clock, aged 69 years, 7 months and 7 days. Typhoid fever caused her death. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at l o'clock from the Methodist church and the body will be taken to Brooklyn for burial. No services will be held in Brooklyn.

MRS EMILY BRENIMAN WAS BURIED IN GRINNELL ON LAST TUESDAY ---
Emily Mary Coon was born in Jones County, Iowa, March 20, 1850, and ended her journey on earth in Grinnell, Iowa, October 27, 1919, being 69 years, 7 months and 7 days old. In Jones County she grew to womanhood and received her education.
November 23, 1870, when 20 years old, she was united in marriage to George W. Waite at her home in Oxford Junction, Iowa. In this union she became the mother of one son, who was called from her when 16 years old. Mr. Waite died one year after their marriage.
In 1893 she was united in marriage with Frederick Breniman of Brooklyn, Iowa. In this union she assumed the motherly responsibility for nine children and immediately won all their hearts in an undying affection. She was a member of a large family and leaves seven brothers who bless her memory.
Her greatest heritage was the blessing of motherhood which she leaves to the nine children, some of whom were quite small when she came into the family life. So well did she give herself to them that without exception they hold her in the most precious memory. So much do they treasure her that they have come long distances --- Wyoming and Chicago, in a last tribute of respect and farewell. They would have been here without exception if the daughter, Mrs. Trigg, were not very ill in a hospital in Chicago and a son C. E. Breniman unable to make the long journey from San Antonio, Texas.
The united testimony of those who know her intimate life and judge her with the most scrutiny is --- she was a true wife, a loving mother, living her good Christian life every day. It can truly be said her children would rise up and call her blessed.
