In this history it states This from the flyleaf of a book of hymns and Spritual Songs in the hands of Sheridan C. Randolph, 255 North Ocoee St., P.O. Box 1035, Cleveland, TN 37311, a descendant of Sarah Cantrell who married William Pirkle. The notation reads; Sarah Cantrell, daughter of Isaac Cantrell and Elizabeth his wife was born July ye 27th-1769.

"I am the gggg granddaughter of Isaac Cantrell, Sr. and Elizabeth ???. Their daughter Sarah Cantrell (born July 27, 1769; I show August 1769) married William Pirkle in 1785. Their son John S. Pirkle II was born May 26, 1794 in Rockingham Co., North Carolina. John S. Pirkle II married Betsy Lawless on June 12, 1819 Hall County Georgia. Their daughter, Serena Pirdle was born Aug. 31, 1836-Georgia ? married William Henderson Wheeler (first marriage) then married a Mr. Titchaw. William Henderson Wheeler and Serena Pirkle had one child, Pickney Rawsville Wheeler, born April 22, 1854 in Hall Co. Georgia. Pickney Wheeler married Martha Evelyn Bell on Feb. 25, 1871 Marshall Co. Alabama. One their children was John Emory Wheeler, my great grandfather. John E. Wheeler married Bessie Cunningham on Oct. 7, 1906 (these are my great grandparents) Their eldest daughter, Esther Serena Wheeler married Russell Sims Chapman on Dec. 19, 1925 in Mangum, Oklahoma. (these are my grandparents) I was born in Wilbarger County Texas and I married and live in Wichita County Texas. I have other siblings and children. I thought you might like to add this to your database. I am searching for Isaac Cantrell, Sr. wife Elizabeth. I do not have any information on her.
