"Wilson N. Cantrell was born in 1812; married Eliza Bennett. They lived at Boiling Springs, Spartanburg County, South Carolina all their lives and were leading members of the Boiling Springs Baptist church. He died in 1905, at the advanced age of ninety-three years. He was held in high esteem by all who knew him and commanded the respect and love of the entire community in which he passed a long and useful life."
