"James Anderson Cantrell was a prominent and influential citizen, filling creditably many official positions and spent most of his life in White County, Georgia, where he had farming and mercantile interests. he united early in life with the Methodist Episcopal church, south, and was an officer in the church until his death, April 28, 1899.
