Isaac Cantrell

"Isaac Cantrell was born in Greenville district, South Carolina about 1781. He married Mary Cantrell, daughter of Minter Cantrell. Isaac moved with his family to Alabama, where all trace of them seems to have been lost. It has also been impossible for us to find to what branch of the family Minter Cantrell belonged; but it is probable that he was a son of either John Cantrell or Adam Cantrell, mentioned in the first census (1790) as being heads of families in the Greenville district."
