"Robert Edward Reinert was graduated from Taft High School in Chicago, and he attended Purdue University for three years. His education was interrupted by the Korean War. He enlisted in the U. S. Navy, and was sent to the electronic school at Treasure Island for one year. He was stationed at Guantamano Bay in Cuba for two years, and at the Naval Communications Center in San Diego, California. After Robert was discharged for the Navy, he entered the San Diego State University, where he graduated with a B. S. Degree and a M. A. Degree in Physics. He was employed at the Naval Electronics as an electronic engineer, specializing in electronics for moon missions. He and Sylvia live in Orange, California."
