Elizabeth Robinette

(March 15, 1835 - July 12, 1904)

"I Elizabeth Bledsoe of the county of Lee and State of Virginia being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say 1.) It is my will that my funeral shall be conducted without ostentation and that the expenses thereof together with all my just debts be fully paid. 2.) It is my will that my five children shall have all of my land the said Elbert Bledsoe and I.W. Bledsoe and Manerva Maness and Sarah E. Allen and Laura Walton it is my will that my five children is to all have free acess to the springs and that said land is to be equally divided between them and the said Elbert Bledsoe and I. W. Bledsoe and Manerva Maness and Sarah E. Allen and Laura Walton is to pay the said Fannie Walton and William Robinette and Minnie Barnet and Jessee Robinette and Ellen B. Robinson and Emery Robinette the said sum of fifteen dollaras a piece when they arrive at the age of 21 years the sum to fall due twelve months after the death of the said Austin Bledsoe-it shall be their part of my estate-it is my will that Laura Walton's equal part be laid off so as to include the home place and the said Austin Bledsoe is to have a home with her at the old home place during his natural life and the said Elbert Bledsoe is to pay the sum of 25 bushel of corn a year and I.W. Bledsoe is to pay Austin Bledsoe the sum of 25 bushels of corn a year and Manerva Maness is to pay the sum of 25 bushels of corn a year and Sarah Allen is to pay the sum of 25 bushels of corn a year and Laura Walton is to pay the sum of 25 bushels of corn a year and if any of them fails to pay the sum of 25 bushels of corn a year their part of the land shall fall back into the said Austin Bledsoe hands during his life time and the timbered land shall be equally divided between the five children and last-I hereby constitute and appoint my said son I.W. Bledsoe to be the executrix and executor of this my last will and testament, revoking and annulling all former wills by me made and ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this the 24th day of April, 1904.
