Martha moved with her family from Polk County to Benton County, Arkansas sometime before the 1900 census was enumerated. She married Walter Hugh Scott Keith there on Mar 21, 1901 and bore him three children. Her oldest child was Winnie Keith (b. 7/6/1904 1nd d.4/18.1976)and the youngest was Earnest J Keith (b.2/20/1913 and d. 10/19/1986). After Walter's death, Martha married Lige Tippens in Calcasieu Parish, LA, and they had no children. Lige, a law enforcement agent, was killed before Jan 28, 1920, when Martha was listed as a widow on the 1920 census in Police Jury Ward 7 in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. Sometime after Lige's death, she married Joseph 'Teen' Davis and they share a tombstone.
