"LANGE, DOROTHY ROGERS - Departed this life peacefully on January 26, 1999. She was a resident of Dallas for over 50 years. Granddaughter of a Methodist minister, her parents were, M. P. and Timmie Rogers. She was born in the "Panhandle of Texas" and graduated from Allison High School. She attended business college and SMU in Dallas. In June 1947 Dorothy married Robert C. Lange and they recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. Dorothy worked many years as a secretary and office manager for Libby Glassware. She was a longtime member of Schreiber Memorial United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ray and Doyle Rogers. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Lange; daughters, Linda Lange Quinn and her husband Dennis, and Annette Lange Geisel and her husband, Bob; granddaughter, Deborah Quinn; grandsons, Dennis Quinn, Peter Geisel and Parker Geisel; brother, Port and several sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. She will be missed by all. Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, January 28, 1999 in Restland Abbey Chapel with Russel Floyd, Charles Cook and B. C. Robertson officiating. Interment to follow in Restland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 27, 1999 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to either the Schreiber United Methodist Church, Dallas District 2X1 Sight & Tissue Foundation and/or the charity of choice."
