"My dad was a Caldwell from Smyth Co. Died at 73 in 1988 from emphysema & complications as the result of a severe stroke in July 1987. My sister Edith died 3 years ago at age 50 from cancer. My parents had 11 kids, Curtis and I being the youngest and the only two who never married. Both of us have disabilities, and both have always lived with Mom.
"Mom has 30 grandchildren, about 60 great-grandchildren, and just recently her first great-grandchild. Now you see why I don't have my names together yet!
