Toney Bruce Judah

"Funeral services for Tony Bruce Judah, 60-year-old Lawrence county quarry worker, who died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home in Needmore following a three weeks' illness, have been arranged for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Gullett's Creek Baptist church in Needfore, of which he was a member, under the direction of the Sherwood & Ferguson funeral home with the Rev. F.R. Potts, Bedford, and the Rev. C.E. Oaks, New Albany, officiating. Burial will be made in the Clover Hill cemetery at Harrodsburg. The body was brought to the Sherwood & Ferguson funeral for burial preparation and at noon today was returned to the residence where it will lie in state until the funeral. Mr. Judah was born in Monroe county to William Park and Kate Dalton Judah August 28, 1879. He was united in marriage at Harrodsburg with Mertie More September 11, 1901, who survives. Other survivors are six sons, Glenn, Max, Ford, Robert, Bruce, Needmore and Ray, at home; a daughter, Esther at home, Mrs. George Sylvester, Bloomington; three half-brothers, Winter Judah, Indianapolis; William Judah, Gary, and Theodore Judah, Bedford, and four grand-children."
