"During the latter part of July 1993, Mrs Werdna Land Page indicated in a letter that Kate Ponder was in a Shreveport Hospital. Kate is 91 years old. On August 5, 1993, I talked with Charles Gordon Davis in West Monroe, Louisiana who talked with Kate's daughter in law. Kate had a gall bladder problem and is now resting at home in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. (Sept. 1993). Kate died October 15, 1994 leaving 2 sons, 1 dau., 6 grandchildren & 15 g/gn."
