Winton Jackson "Cotton" Davis

"Winton Davis was born in Sulphur Rock Arkansas and moved with his father to Fayetteville Arkansas about 1895. In 1937 he moved his wife, Julia and 4 boys to North Little Rock, Arkansas. He worked at the V. A. hospital until World War II, when he became Assistant Fire Chief at Camp Robinson. After the war he became Assistant Fire Chief at the Pine Bluff Arsenal, which position he held until his retirement in 1952. Winton was a "Jack of all trades" building and plumbing his house in North Little Rock, with the sometimes help of his four boys."
