"Mrs. Estelle Fowler Murray. DAR ID Number: 34557. Born in Atlanta, Georgia. Wife of Thomas A. Murray, Jr. Descendant of Jonathan Ragan and of Capt. Parmenas Haynes, of Georgia. Daughter of Alfred L. Fowler, Sr., and Henrietta Pittman, his wife. Granddaughter of Daniel N. Pittman and Asenath Haynes, his wife. Gr.-granddaughter of Richard Haynes (b. 1773) and Abi Ragan, his wife, m. 1800. Gr.-gr.-granddaughter of Parmenas Haynes and Elizabeth Baber, his wife; Jonathan Ragan. Jonathan Ragan, (1744-1805), served as a private under Col. Elijah Clark. He was granted land for his service in Washington county, Ga., where he died. Parmenas Haynes, (1742-1813), was a true and loyal patriot. He was born in Virginia; died in Oglethorpe, Ga."
