"Linda Lightfoot has always been energetic, with a quick, sharp mind. She loves the world of business and is good in it. She was a qualified secretary before she got her high school diploma, and after years of secretarial work, she decided to become a realtor, and did home study and passed all her exams without any formal school courses. She became a broker soon after she became eligible to take the broker's test. For several years she had her own Broker's office which was called Homes, Etc. in Santa Rosa, California. She was baptized in May 1955 at Earth, Lamb County, Texas." (Mary Lightfoot, 1998.)
