Individual Details
Earnest Oliver Lightfoot
(April 23, 1888 - March 15, 1965)
"Earnest Lightfoot was a good family man and a good farmer. He rented land to farm and declined to buy the land even when he was offered the chance to make payments like rent to eventually own the land. He had a streak of wanderlust and did not want to be tied down to one place. He liked to play dominoes and checkers for enjoyment, and spent a considerable amount of time in the local domino halls whenever he could. He was tall, slender with wide shoulders, and had blue or hazel eyes, and sandy brown hair which was balding in late life. He was baptized in August 1952 in Earth, Lamb County, Texas." (Mary Lightfoot, 1998.)
