"Ward Hudson, born about 1735, and his wife Martha Hudson, "spinster," married in Lunenberg County, Virginia in 1761. Most likely she was a cousin .. as the Hudson's will be found to intermarry several times in succeeding generations. Ward and Mary Hudson had children which were named in Ward's will of 1793, and thru research, have proven to be: Edith, who married Samuel Ward, John, who married Mary Beasley, Ward, Jr., who married Anna Thwreatt, Roland or Rowland, who married Doshia Harding, Pheobe, who maried Edward Harding, Richard, who married Susannah parrott, Nancy and Lameck, who we know died in Alabama in 1844."
