"Commonwealth of Kentucky, County of Hopkins. I, Daniel M. Trotter of St. Charles, of the aforesaid County and State, being of sound mind and disposing memory and knowing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death make this my last will and testament. First, After death, I desire that my body receive decent and Christian burial. Second, I desire that my funeral expenses and any debts that I may owe be promptly paid by my executor herein after named. Third, After all requirements in section First and Second have been fulfilled, I will and bequeath the remainder of my estate to be divided equal between my son M. L. Trotter, Sallie Sisk Jr. my grandaughter, Lonie Sisk, Pearl Kladden, Dixie Wilt, and Sallie Sisk's Sr., heirs, my daughters. Fourth, Should either of the devisees heretofore set forth depart this life before I do, then such amount as set aside for such devisee shall revert to their heirs and be divided equal among them. Fifth, I hereby appoint my son M. L. Trotter my executor without bond and the said M. L. Trotter is hereby empowered to sell dispose of, and make and perfect title to any and all real estate and personal property that I might own at my death, without the aid of any court, and all sales and titles shall bae in Fee Simple, but the proceeds of such sales shall be divided as set forth in section Third of this decree. In witness thereof I have signed, published, and declared this to be my last will and testament in said county and state aforesaid. This 24 day of March 1921. (signed) D. M. Trotter. "Mat this is my Will now if you canot serve you can appoint some one els. I want you to be sure & put a nice Monument (on) our graves this means should I fail to live to get back should I die over seas pleas have me brought back this is part of my will. Your Father D. M. Trotter.

"I, John G. Salmon, Clerk of the Hopkins County Court do hereby certify that on this day the foregoing last will and testament of Daniel M. Trotter was produced in open court probated and ordered recorded, wereupon the same together with this certificate has been recorded in my said office.
