John M. Cooper

(February, 1867 - 1910)

1900 Yuma County, Arizona, page 173, taken 8 and 9 June 1900, Dwelling/Family #59/60: John M. COOPER, head, male, white, February 1867, 33, married, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, Section Foreman (Railroad). (NOTE FROM RALPH TERRY: This could be the husband of Ida June Judia Cooper, who was living with her aunt in El Paso, Texas at this time. Ida June is shown as married, as is this John M. Cooper, with no spouse in the household. Ida June's children show their father to have been born in Mississippi, same as this John M. Cooper. This John M. Cooper is only four years older than Ida June, so the age is in range. The birth information for Ida June's husband is taken from this data. Whether this is the husband of Ida June Judia Cooper, her husband apparently died about this time or soon after, as she is shown as married in the 1900 El Paso, Texas census and remarried Howell Cobb about 1904.)

1910 Wester County, Mississippi census, John M. Cooper had been married the second time for 3 years.
