Marshall Ferrell Martin, 84, president of Martin and Martin Foundation Drilling Contractors, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Memorials: Alzheimer's Association, Box 9709, Fort Worth, Texas 76147, or Vitas Hospice, 2501 Parkview Drive, Fort Worth,Texas 76102. Marshall was born January 20, 1920, in Snyder. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He was very active in his church taking part in singing in the choir and teaching Sunday school. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Melin; parents; a brother; a sister; and many friends. Survivors: Wife, Martha Martin of 64 years;children, Linda Martin, Michael and wife, Janice Martin, and Kay and husband, Duane Gordy; 36 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren."
