"Tillman Kemper, at the close of the Revolution, re-enlisted in the US Army, & was sent with a detachment to Garrison the frontier town of Vincennes, Indiana. When his three year enlistment period expired, he went back to Virginia through Kentucky. He married in Virginia & returned to Kentucky."
