"I am so fortunate to have located your site because it has given me the rest of my Greear/Greer line and has saved me countless hours of researching. One of my direct ancestors was Charles Wesley Greear who married Sarah Ann Gibson. These are my ggrandparents. They had the following children (in Herndon, VA): Henry Arnold Greear m. Virginia McFarland (I think), Alice (Nora) Greear m. ? Henderson, Patty Greear m. Edward (Ned) Beverley, Emily Otey Greear m. William Hoxsey Burton, Sr. (my grandparents). G.Uncle Arnold, G.Aunt Nora, G.Aunt Patty did not have any children. My grandparents, Emily Greear and William Burton had only one child, my father: William Hoxsey Burton, Jr. He married Jane Ellen Marlow (my mother). They had two children: Felicia Ann Burton (me) and Linda Ellen Burton. I married Gerald Staggs and have the following children: Elizabeth Michelle Staggs, Kirsten Lenore Staggs, and Ashley Ann Staggs. My sister married David Holt and has the following children: Sara Marlow Holt and David Patrick Holt II. All of my Greear family members and my father have passed on now. I am wondering if you can help me. I know nothing about my ggrandmother, Sarah Ann Gibson. Do you have any additonal information about her or know of someone I can contact who might?"
