Jeffrey Scull 9 June 1996, "My Dad said Bessie Johns never remarried after she & William Henry Johns divorced. We thought her maiden name was Groom. Green is the maiden name of Mrs. Arvil (Emily) Johns. Arvil was Hanks brother. Bessie Johns spent her last couple years in a nursing home. Dad thinks she died in Sandwich, ILL (DeKab Co) thats where the local hospital is located."
