"Charlie Hutson Funeral Slated - Littlefield. Services for Charlie James Hutson, 53, who died early Saturday at a Borger rest home, were to be at 2:30 p.m. today at First Baptist Church here. Officiating was to be the Rev. Jeff Smith, assisted by the Rev. Virgil Jones of Borger. Burial was to be in Littlefield Memorial Park, with Hammons Funeral Home directing arrangements. Hutson, a native of Clark County, Arkansas, had been at the rest home about nine months after suffering injuries in an auto accident. Surviving are his wife, Thelma; a daughter, Mrs. A. R. Taylor, Borger; five sons, Lawrence, of Borger, Nathan, Larry, Jimmy and Tommy, all of Littlefield; a sister, Mrs. Junie Mae Kimbrough, Hot Springs, Arkansas, and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were to be H. V. Elkins, I. F. Sumrall, H. L. Bishop, R. B. Mixsom, H. A. Chisum and R. B. Chandler." (obituary from a Littlefield, Texas area local newspaper.)
