"William Lee Wolfenbarger was born on 2 Apr 1870 in Upshur County, Texas. He was named for his uncle William Wolfenbarger. Married Julia Angeline Griffith in Comanche County, Texas on 16 Sep 1901. I have been told that he left one day and didn't return for eight years. No one knows where he was during that time. Will died on 9 Mar 1957 in DeLeon, Comanche County, Texas and is buried in the DeLeon Cemetery next to Julia. His tombstone shows his name as Willie Lee. Their son William Jr is buried nearby."
