James Edward Langley

James Langley died at Glen Rose Thursday, May 14, following a brief illness. Mr. Langley had gone to Glen Rose for the benefit of his health. For the past 11 years he had made his home in this county, where he was engaged in farming. At the time of his death he resided three miles south of Wellington. Mr. Langley was 56 years, 8 months and 15 days of age. He was born August 29, 1879, in Arkansas. Besides his wife, Mrs. Alice Langley, he is survived by six daughters, four sons, and a brother. The daughters are: Mrs. Nannie Davis of Dozier; Mrs. Thel Hester of Asher, Oklahoma; Mrs. May Lowe of Empire City, Oklahoma; Mrs. Iva Richards of Rule; Miss Ida Langley of Wichita Falls; and Miss Lois Langley of Wellington. The sons are: Dan Langley of Ranger; Jim Langley of Quail; George and Bill Langely of Wellington. The brother, Sam Langley, resides in Waurika, Oklahoma. (The Wellington Leader May 21, 1931)
