(NOTE FROM RALPH TERRY: The 1900 Clark County, Arkansas census shows M. S. Langley, widow and children. That family appears to be from a first marriage of John F. Langley. Many researchers shows M. S. as his wife and that he died before 1900, as it is shown in this census that M. S. was a widow. However, there is a marriage license in Clark County, Arkansas between John Langley, of Ellis County, Texas and Cora Ellis. I feel John F. Langley did not die, but left or divorced M. S. and remarried.)
