"Jack Lowell Sigman served two years in the U. S. Marine Corps, served in the Korean War, received a Purple Heart. After the war, Jack served ten years in the Marine Reserves. He returned to Belle where he served as chief of the Fire Department and is head of Belle's ambulance service. He is a scuba diver as well as a private pilot."
